Lindy Pollard, a seasoned saxophonist, flautist and pianist took 2 young upstarts, bassist Derrick Lewis and drummer/pianist NewK under his generous wing and attempted to show them the ropes. These sessions from the mid 1970's in Houston, TX. are a document of this all too short-lived trio's explorations together. Joining them on a few tracks is the amazing flautist/vocalist Teresa James and the prog rock group Succubus, (Track 6) of which both she and Derrick were members. Pianist Paul English joins them midstream (Track 7)
